Melody Bowl in Sycamore

Description

I first made a 9-string Melody Bowl as a lullaby instrument for my kids.  This one, Made from Hawkwood Sycamore by Wilfred at the original Devon Sounding Bowl studios is easily tuned to either the major scale plus-one or to the ancient Celtic pentatonic mode as played in the sample here. This bowl combines a lot of warmth with the lightness of such a small instrument and has the full richness of pulsing overtone diversity that has made Sounding Bowls famous across the world.
