Melody Bowl in Cherry

Description

This is a handy-sized version of our very popular 12-string Melody Bowl. Having 11 strings gives an emotionally fulfilling range of notes, from the ‘dominant’ fifth below the key note and up a full octave beyond it. It also tunes well to a pentatonic mode giving over two octaves there.

Cherry is the blushing maiden of the tree world, full of delight in her own harmonic gifts.  The cherry tree this bowl came from fell near the workshop of Ramon Floride in Salzburg, Austria. Ramon spent years working with Tobias in Devon before setting up his own studio. 

As with all bowls over 7strings, It comes in a hard case, soft lined in red, with a tuner and manual.
