Melody Bowl in Sycamore

The 12 string Melody Bowl has been extremely popular, 40 of them so far at play right around the world. With a good range to sing to, light enough to hold up during performance, this is my favourite style for concerts. Melody Bowls are the easiest style to make music with. There’s a wide range of tunings available for this bowl, and shown in your manual. Apart from the usual Major/minor scales the pentatonic tunings bring out a rich and tender-hearted type of music that has no “Wrong note” dissonances, making it easy to learn on. Sound samples below give you a taste of both.

Sycamore has a reassuring or embracing tone, full of warmth and strength. This tree fills the Mother-Goddess archetype with her wide branches, broad, five-fingered leaves and abundant offspring.
