Cherry fills her notes with delight. Spring flowers, sweet fruit, the gentle surprise of advancing summer all resonate in the tone of this instrument, as you can hear in the sound sample below. Rich deep notes, and long summer-evening-high-notes combine to create an exceptionally lyrical bowl. The Pentatonic tuning that provides such profound innocence and ease of play is also available here, the manual lays out how. This is a real plus, as this tuning often does not work out on larger bowls.
Due to the perfect balance and the tone that moves me so exceptionally I have to categorize this one as a Cathedral Bowl, exceptional amongst its kin.
