Large Lyre Bowl in Ash

Description

The 21-string Lyre Bowl is the classic sound-healing tool. The sound is exceptionally full and rich with a wide variety from bass to soprano refreshing the innate harmonies of the human body. Tuned to the Dominant-Tonic-Third arpeggio, it picks up the Golden-Mean, harmonics of growth, reminding the subtle energies of the etheric or sound-body of where they naturally fall when not distorted by stress. Responses from clients are deep and rewarding.

Wood and strings touch the heart in ways metal bowls and gongs do not. The fully-tuned harmony of these notes awakens inner light and warmth. Practitioners tell me they can achieve in less than ten minutes what might take an hour with a gong. It is not unusual for a first session to release deep patterns, and refresh the healing direction.

With 21 strings in the Lyre pattern, this reflects the Ancient Greek belief that an instrument can draw in the songs of the circling spheres, the planets that sing us into being and guard over our development.

Ash fills the notes with courage. The best of the Young Cosmic Masculine, the energy of the Archangel Michael, comes through, from this Sun-tree whose grace has filled so much of our countryside for uncountable generations.

This is one of our favourite bowls. I have to categorize this one as a Cathedral Bowl, exceptional amongst its kin, due to the perfect balance, and the tone that moves us so exceptionally.

We have not had one like this in stock for years.  As Tobias coasts towards retirement, the opportunity to acquire such large pieces may be limited.
