Particular bowls offer such a huge, harmonic resonance that we have come to call them Cathedral Bowls.

We first encountered this quality on supplying a 15 string Melody Bowl to Edinburgh hospital. The recipient music therapist there said, simply: “She IS a cathedral. I felt she would be. She has already entered the dreaming fabric of our work. Wherever I take her, even the staff go silent, reach out, touch her, and wonder”
